This Refund & Returns Policy applies to all purchases made from Sanjeevani Art & Crafts. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out in this policy. Please read it carefully before ordering.


1. Overview

At Sanjeevani Art & Crafts, we take great pride in the quality of every handcrafted product that leaves our studio. Our statues, wall murals, terracotta products, and gift sets are individually made and quality-checked before dispatch.

If something goes wrong — a damaged delivery, a wrong item, or a genuine manufacturing defect — we will make it right promptly and at no cost to you. For other situations such as change of mind, this policy sets out what options are available.

2. Eligible Returns — 7-Day Window

You may initiate a return within 7 calendar days of delivery under any of the following circumstances:

  • Product arrived damaged in transit — with photographic evidence shared within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Wrong item delivered — the product you received is different from what was confirmed in your order.
  • Significant manufacturing defect — the product has a clear defect that was not visible in the product photos we shared and that affects the product's appearance or structural integrity.
  • Change of mind — for standard catalogue products only (not custom or made-to-order), if the product is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following product categories are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Custom-made & personalised statues — any statue made to a specific size, pose, design, or personalised specification at your request.
  • Custom 3D wall murals — wall art created to your specific dimensions, theme, and colour palette.
  • Custom corporate gifting orders — products made with your branding, custom packaging, or modifications.
  • Products returned after 7 days of the delivery date.
  • Products without original packaging.
  • Products that have been installed, used, cleaned, or altered after receipt.
  • Products damaged by the customer through improper handling, storage, or installation.
  • Gift sets or festive items that have been opened and partially used.

4. How to Raise a Return Request

  1. Within 48 hours of delivery — if the product is damaged — take clear photos and a short video of the product and its packaging. Do not discard any packaging.

    • Your order number or reference
    • Your name and delivery address
    • The reason for the return
    • Photos / video of the product and packaging (for damage/defect claims)
  3. We will review your request and respond within 2 working days.
  4. If approved, we will share return shipping instructions or arrange collection where applicable.

5. Exchange Policy

Exchanges are available for standard catalogue products within 7 days of delivery, provided the original product is undamaged, unused, and in original packaging.

  • Return shipping costs for exchange are borne by the customer in change-of-mind cases.
  • If we sent the wrong product, we bear all shipping costs for the exchange.
  • The replacement product will be dispatched once we receive and inspect the returned item.

Exchanges on custom-made products are only possible if we made an error in your confirmed order (wrong design, wrong size, wrong colour).

6. Refund Timeline

Once we receive and inspect your returned product:

  • We will notify you of the refund decision within 2 working days of receiving the return.
  • Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 7 working days.
  • The refund will be credited to your original payment method — bank transfer (NEFT) or UPI, as applicable.
  • Original shipping charges are not refunded for change-of-mind returns.
  • For damaged or wrong item returns, the full purchase price including shipping is refunded.

7. Cancellation Policy

Before production begins:

  • Standard catalogue orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of order placement for a full refund.

After production has started:

  • For standard products in production, cancellations may result in a restocking or material charge.
  • For custom orders where the design has been approved and production materials have been committed, cancellations attract a deduction of 30–50% of the order value to cover material and artisan time costs. The balance advance, if any, will be refunded.
  • Once a product is dispatched, it cannot be cancelled — only a return can be initiated per this policy.

8. Damaged or Wrong Item Received

If you receive a damaged or wrong product, here is exactly what to do:

  1. Do not discard any packaging material until we have assessed the claim.
  2. Take photos of (a) the outer box, (b) the inner packaging, and (c) the damaged/wrong product.
  3. Send these to us on WhatsApp within 48 hours of receiving the delivery.
  4. We will arrange a free replacement (dispatched within 5–10 working days) or a full refund — your choice.

We take damage and wrong-item claims very seriously and resolve them as a priority. Our packaging damage rate is below 0.5% across thousands of deliveries.
